Starkweather Roofing, Inc ("SRI") is an Arizona corporation founded by Jeff and Diane Starkweather.  It is a licensed and bonded company that installs numerous roof systems including built-up and modified, both hot and cold applied; single-ply roof membranes, E.P.D.M, T.P.O and PVC, shingle, tile, foam and architectural metal roofs.  In addition, SRI uses a wide variety of coatings and has exemplary roof maintenance and roof cleaning programs.

Jeff Starkweather, who has worked in the roofing industry for over twenty years, oversees the field operations of SRI.  Jeff began installing roofs, and then worked his way into supervisory positions, until he was managing the commercial operations of a multi-million dollar roofing company.  He then started SRI in 1997 with one kettle and a four-man crew and guided it to the multi-million dollar company it is today.  At SRI, Jeff's responsibilities include sales management, contract negotiations, budget projections and preparation of site proposals.  His ultimate focus is on quality control and customer satisfaction.

Diane Starkweather oversees the administrative operations of SRI and review contracts.  Diane grew up in the Valley.  She is a construction and commercial attorney who is familiar with the legalities and financial aspects of running a construction company.  She worked her way through school and ran the office of a small company before practicing law.  She has worked with roofing experts in California and Arizona and is well acquainted with the industry.  She has been a member of the construction section of the state bar and edited the construction section newsletter.

Sherm Robison began his career with SRI as the Operations Manager in February of 2004.  Sherm comes from a long line of roofers that began with his great grandfather, father, uncle and his brothers.  He began learning the roofing trade in 1978 while working with his father as a laborer, then as a journeyman and then a foreman.  He spent numerous years as a Superintendent before starting his own company in Colorado.  When Sherm came to Phoenix, he became a Project Manager/Estimator for one of Arizona's largest roofing companies before spending several years as a Roof Consultant.  Sherm has sustained his roofing knowledge by attending seminars and taking classes to make sure that maintained the highest education standards to keep up with changing industry standards and methods and means.  He is involved with the Roof Consultants Institute (RCI) and is an active member in of the National Roofing Contractors Association.  Sherms duties at SRI are to help oversee the operations on a daily basis.  His focus is on details and estimating the larger more difficult projects.

Glen Dishmon comes to SRI as an estimator with 23 years of roofing experience.  Glen, married and father of four, was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ.  His father, who owned his own roofing company, introduced him to roofing.  Glen started working in the material yard and began learning how to install every roof application.  He became the Service Manager for one of the nation's largest roofing company for commercial and residential.  Glen then shifted into the sales/estimator department, where he finds this most enjoyable because he can put forward his knowledge and experience into his customers.

Dave McCarty joins the SRI team as our Project Manager.  A father of two, Dave was raised in the Phoenix area. He has previously held in customer service and human resource positions in the construction industry.  Before coming to SRI, he spent the past 4 years as a Project Manager for a local General Contractor, where he became OSHA certified.  While at SRI, Dave makes sure that materials for each project are ordered and delivered correctly and that they are scheduled and completed in a timely manner.  Dave is also in charge of the Safety Plans for each project to insure the safety of our employees, our clients and their tenants.

Richard Rankin and Robert Washburn round-off SRI's field management staff.  As superintendents, their duties include taking daily job walks, problem solving, ordering material, safety inspections for our employees and customer and quality control.  Between the two, they have over 25 years experience in the roofing industry.

SRI is a member of the Arizona Roofing Contractors' Association and the National Roofing Contractors' Association.  Jeff is a board member of the Arizona Roofing Contractors' Association and an industry partner and sponsor of the Institute of Real Estate Managers.
